Topshop recently launched a new line of "self-love" tattoos which include gold metallic scars and small imperfections. They describe their line of tattoos as, "celebrating imperfections, rather than hiding them." Some think this has been a wonderful idea and great way to empower ourselves. Others have been taking shots, claiming these tattoos are promoting self-harm and mental illness.
If you are a fan or if you simply can't stand them, it doesn't really matter. At the end of the day, Topshop has already managed to sell out and create a buzz.
